Join us year-round, rain or shine for an exciting day of discovery in one of Canada's longest caves. Walk, climb, crawl, wiggle and slide past ancient bones, pictographs and cave formations on the Explorer Tour, plus add an 18m rappel on the Adventure Tour.
Simply the best adventure IN the Rockies.
We offer two year-round tours:
At 4.5hrs, the Explorer Tour is our shortest cave tour. You will spend approximately 2.5 hours in the cave climbing, crawling and sliding past ancient cave formations, pre-historic bones and pictographs. The Explorer Tour is available for ages 10+. All equipment is provided and no experience is required!
The Adventure Tour is a total of 6 hours in length with 4 hours spent in the cave. We'll do everything on the Explorer Tour, plus you'll have the option to try a 20m rappel and we'll have additional time to explore more of the cave. This tour is available for ages 12+, and again, no experience is required.
Both tours will require a 30-40 minute hike up a mountain trail in order to access the cave. This is a wild cave with no lights, hand rails or walkways.
Our cave tours are available YEAR-ROUND, RAIN or SHINE. The cave is a constant 5°C every day of the year!
We recommend booking well in advance, especially on weekends and during high-season (summer months, Christmas, etc.).
Our tours are fully guided, with a maximum group size of 8 cavers per guide. All necessary caving equipment is provided, including helmets, lights, kneepads, gloves, coveralls, and safety harnesses.
You will need to Provide:
- Suitable footwear. Hiking boots and shoes are best, but sturdy running shoes works as well.
- Outer wear suitable for 30-40 minutes of hiking in the weather du jour.
- Warm layers for in the cave. 5°C is effectively refrigerator temperature.
